Praising the Name of YHVH

The design above, illustrates THE SACRED NAME of YHVH

("The LORD"), portraying the 4 Hebrew letters (read from right to left).  The Scriptures are very clear that we must remember, cherish, and raise our praises to His Name!

YHVH - "Yahveh" (or YHWH - "Yahweh"), is THE God of Israel; our Father and Creator.  Dear Believers, we must know the Name of our "G-o-d".  His Name is recorded over 6,800 times in the so called - "Old Testament" (the Hebrew Scriptures).  English transliterations substitute the words - "The LORD" - each time His Name appears in the Scriptures.

Psalms 145:13 "Let them praise The Name of YHVH ("The LORD"), for His Name alone is exalted; His majesty is above earth and heaven."

Yeshua-Jesus expressed that our Father’s Name is Holy.

Matthew 6:9  "In this manner, therefore pray: 'Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your Name'."

The LORD has one Personal revealed Name, carried by the 4 Hebrew letters.  There are respectful substitutions such as "Adonai" and "Ha Shem" and He is also praised by poetic titles, attributes, & appellations such as "El Shaddai", "Yahveh Yireh", and "Yahveh Rohe".  While the Name - "Jehovah" is closer to the 4 Sacred Hebrew letters than "God" or "Lord", it is not the Hebraic pronunciation, since there is no "J" sound found in the Hebrew language.  Interestingly "hovah", in Hebrew, means "ruin or mischief" (see Strong's Concordance <1942>) and this same type of problem can arise with the Name “Jesus” IF you let it.  (see info below about Iesous & Yasees)  The Words are moving and will accomplish there work among the nations as it was meant to be!

Psalms 34:3  "Magnify YHVH (The LORD) with me!  Let us praise His Name together!"

Hebrews 13:15  "Through Him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge His Name."

Romans 15:5-6  "Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus, so that together you may with one voice glorify The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."

Iesous - Yesoos

A multilingual speaker, such as Paul, would easily recognize the resemblance of the sound of –"Iesous" to the Hebraic "yesoos".

The Greek form of Yehsua’s Hebrew name carries the concept they understood...

through the Gk <4982> –“saos”, “sos” –"will save".

Both the Hebraic "yesoos" –"will rejoice!"

ANDezuz”, “izzuwz” –"might, strength, power” Heb <5807, 5808>

carry the message to the ears that hear, very well!

Please do not let anyone convince you that Abba Yah lacks plan & purpose for the various ways that His Son’s Name goes around the world!  “Jesus” is not from Zeus!

Salvation is in fact, The cause of GREATEST rejoicing!

Paul's writing to the Phillippians...

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say RejoicePhil 4:5
